Large and rare organic hanging lamp “cocoon” of the 60s, cocoon-leuchten international.

Metal structure consisting of four spheres covered with sprayed polymer plastic fiber.

This remarkable suspension diffuses a sublime light and brings a warm atmosphere to your interior (which today gives rise to this reference to the expression “cocooning”)
The technical process of the cocoon was discovered by the German Friedel Wauer, who inspired many Italian designers, such as George Nelson, Achilles, Pier Giacomo Garlandoni, and Tobia Scarpa.
