Paul Kingma slate stone mosaic coffee table, 1960s

Exceptional early edition Paul Kingma round coffee table with an unusual color palette. The composition combines deep charcoal and black stone with white, dark green, and warm terracotta-red elements, set into a heavy concrete top. The table rests on a simple black cylindrical base. The rough concrete edge and irregular, almost graphic mosaic composition give this early example a different look from his later tables. Signed on the table top.
