Pierre Paulin “Mushroom” Chairs for Artifort, 1960s

A sculptural pair of Pierre Paulin’s iconic Mushroom lounge chairs for Artifort. These early-edition pieces feature the characteristic enveloping silhouette that made the model a mid-century design classic: a softly flared base rising in one continuous curve to form the back and arms, creating a deep, cocooning seat. Upholstered in a light blue Pierre Frey chenille, the chairs have a tactile, almost cloud-like surface that highlights their organic shape and adds a contemporary softness while respecting the original design.

In excellent condition because of the new fabric, The bottoms have signs of use.
