M1 dining table by Angelo Mangiarotti for Skipper Italy, 1970s

Stunning M1 dining table designed by Angelo Mangiarotti for Skipper, Italy, in the 1970s.

Entirely crafted from beautiful grey marble  (Grigio Mondragone), featuring striking white and dark veining throughout. The natural variations in the stone give the table a rich and distinctive appearance. The circular tabletop rests on a solid conical marble base. A recessed opening underneath the tabletop allows the base to fit securely into place, creating a stable construction without the need for additional fixings. A beautiful example of Italian modernist design, combining a minimalist silhouette with the natural beauty of marble.
