Pair of sculptural burned orange Italian lounge chairs, circa 1970s

Newly re-webbed and retaining what appears to be their original burnt orange chenille velvet upholstery. The chairs feature a compact, architectural silhouette with tailored skirted bases concealing casters, allowing effortless movement while maintaining a clean upholstered profile. Elegant in scale and richly textured, the design reflects the relaxed sophistication of 1970s Italian modern interiors. The chenille velvet upholstery displays beautiful tonal variation and patina consistent with age, giving the chairs a warm, lived-in character impossible to replicate with new fabric. Fresh internal webbing has recently been installed for comfort and structural integrity.
