Utrecht lounge chairs designed by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld and manufactured by Metz & Co, Amsterdam.

Originally introduced in 1935, the Utrecht is one of the most celebrated icons of Dutch modernist design, admired for its bold architectural lines and timeless sculptural form. These chairs feature the traditional early construction with solid beechwood frames, coil springs, and webbing. They are upholstered in their original wool grey fabric, displaying a natural patina and age-appropriate wear. The fabric is damaged in some parts. Both chairs are structurally sound and comfortable, preserving the character and craftsmanship of the original production.
