These chairs perfectly capture Aulenti’s architectural approach to furniture. Bold, modern, and distinctly sculptural. Featuring lacquered red tubular steel frames with black leather cushions, the chairs combine structural clarity with luxurious comfort. The continuous curves of the frame create a strong graphic presence, while the supple leather upholstery adds warmth and depth. Aulenti’s Model 54 chairs reflect her transition from the playful Locus Solus series of the 1960s to the more refined, postmodern language of the 1970s
