French Four-Panel Room Divider by Fournier Decoration Paris, 1980s

An elegant and highly decorative four-panel folding screen by Fournier Decoration Paris, produced in France during the 1980s.

Crafted in black lacquered wood, the screen is entirely hand-painted on both sides against a luminous gold background, allowing it to be admired from every angle. The front is decorated with an elegant composition of flowering branches, blossoms and birds, creating a refined and vibrant Chinoiserie scene. The reverse features bamboo, birds and rock formations, offering a more tranquil yet equally sophisticated composition.
