An impressive DS-600 modular sofa by De Sede, Switzerland, 1970s.
Designed by Ueli Berger, Eleonore Peduzzi-Riva, Heinz Ulrich and Klaus Vogt, the DS-600 is known for its exceptional modular design, allowing individual seating elements to be connected by zippers. This large example consists of 16 seating elements and two armrests, upholstered in beautifully patinated brown leather. The leather has developed a rich colour and character over the years. The flexible construction allows the sofa to be arranged in various configurations, from a long, curved seating arrangement to a more compact shape.
