Solid pinewood Wabi-sabi style dining table, Europe, 1970s

Solid pinewood wabi-sabi style dining table from the 1970s. Two cross legs lift up the solid round tabletop. In that way a strong and stable look is created. Both the legs and the top are visually structured by the natural grain of the pinewood. The craftsman was inspired by the wabi-sabi philosophy centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. A one of a kind piece that shows great character as it highlights the wood’s remarkable patina. We have 6 matching dining chairs available.

In a good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
