Sesann 3-Seater Sofa in cognac leather by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina, 1970s

Early edition 3-seater sofa designed by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina, Italy 1970. This sofa is upholstered in its original cognac leather upholstery with a chrome tubular metal frame. The sofa has very comfortable seating and the chrome is in very good condition.

Cassina introduced the Sesann system in 1969, marking a significant milestone in furniture design. This comprehensive system included the iconic armchair, a two-seater sofa, a three-seater sofa, and a coffee table. The distinguishing feature of the Sesann series, the external chrome steel structure, harmoniously molds the polyurethane foam padding into a striking form.
