Red travertine coffee table by Angelo Mangiarotti, Italy, 1970s

A Timeless red travertine coffee table with interlocking legs that was designed by Angelo Mangiarotti for Up&Up in the 1970s.

The table features no joints or clamps and is architectural in its structure. The table rests on four cone-shaped legs. The top ‘locks’ itself onto the travertine cones and that is kept in place as a result of the weight of the material. As a consequence, the entire structure is stable and strong.
 

Condition:

Very good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
