Pierre Chapo ‘S31’ Stool in Elmwood, 1980s

Pierre Chapo, stool model ´S31´, elm, France, designed the 1960s.

This asymmetrical stool with twisted legs is an icon of Pierre Chapo’s designs. The piece is made of solid elm. The used material, the cross-legged base, and the wood joints are typical for Chapo. He designed three stools of different heights. These are the lowest stools which can also be used as a side table pedestal table. These stools are made in the 1980s. We have the original invoice.

Condition:

In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
