Le Mura 4-seater sofa by Mario Bellini for Cassina, 1970s

Exceptional and rare 4-piece Le Mura sofa by Mario Bellini for Cassina, Italy, 1970s. The sofa is reupholstered in a Dedar Milano cotton velvet fabric. The 4 sections hook into each other with chrome metal buckles. This sofa was just for a limited time in production and much less produced and therefore very rare.
Le Mura stands for ‘the walls’ and this name and the design of the sofa resemble the large stones that were used to build the ancient Roman walls and roads.

Condition:

In a very good vintage condition. No rips, holes, tears.
