Coffee Table with Dry Bar by Massimo Papiri for Mario Sabot, 1970s
Massimo Papiri for Mario Sabot, coffee table and dry bar, chrome, plexiglass, wood, Italy, 1970s.
This iconic cocktail table is designed by Massimo Papiri and is called Harry’s bar. This piece is exemplary of the architectural glamour style that Papiri is known for. The black top matches the clean metal in a staid yet harmonious way. The inside of this cocktail table features an illuminated dry bar with lighting, making this table functional, sculptural, and metamorphic at the same time.
We replaced the wire for a battery-operated LED light, so you don’t see a wire on the floor. The light goes on only when the table is opened.
