Cesare Lacca was an Italian designer known for his refined furniture designs and distinctive approach to form during the postwar period. His work often combines elegant proportions with unusual details, reflecting the creativity of Italian mid-century design.

The sofa features a beautifully flowing silhouette with a gently curved seat, an asymmetrical backrest, and softly rounded armrests. A particularly charming detail is the unusual pleated fabric skirt running along the entire base, following the curves of the sofa and giving it a distinctive, playful character. Reupholstered in olive green fabric approximately 15 years ago.
