Rare ‘Scimitar’ coffee table designed by Boris Tabacoff for Mobilier Modulaire Moderne (MMM), France, circa 1970.

This striking low table features Tabacoff’s characteristic curved construction in polished chromed steel, combined with a circular smoked glass top. The two sweeping, intersecting elements of the base create the distinctive scimitar-like silhouette that gave the series its name. Despite the substantial chrome construction, the open base and smoked glass give the table a light and elegant appearance.
