The Sesann is celebrated for its sculptural silhouette and distinctive exposed chrome tubular frame, which elegantly cradles the generously padded upholstery. It has been professionally reupholstered in a luxurious dark dusty pink cotton velvet. The fabric displays beautiful tonal variation, shifting from soft blush pink to warm terracotta hues depending on the direction of the light, enhancing the sofa’s sculptural form. Introduced by Cassina in 1969, the Sesann collection comprised an armchair, two-seat sofa, three-seat sofa, and coffee table. Its innovative combination of an exposed steel structure and voluminous polyurethane foam cushions established the series as one of the defining icons of post-war Italian design.
