The piece features a sculptural, polished chrome-plated base with angular architectural supports evocative of Evans’ celebrated Cityscape designs, topped by a deeply channel-tufted cushion newly upholstered in luxurious Dedar “Jamu Jungle Pantera” velvet. The bold geometric velvet creates a compelling dialogue between 1970s American studio modernism and contemporary collectible design. Retains original Paul Evans Inc. maker’s label to underside and is signed. An exceptional statement piece functioning equally well as an ottoman, cocktail bench, or sculptural seating element within refined modern, brutalist, postmodern, or gallery-style interiors.
