A rare and highly collectible pair of coffee tables by Paul Kingma, dated 1982.

Exemplifying the artist’s distinctive fusion of sculpture, architecture, and functional design.
The tables feature a carefully composed geometric inlay of natural stone and metal elements, set within a hand-cast stone composite surface. Their warm sand / limestone-toned palette gives them a refined, natural presence, distinguishing them from the more commonly found darker Kingma pieces.

Each table is supported by a sculptural steel base, incorporating rotating metal plates that can be positioned at 90 degrees. This subtle interactive element enhances the architectural character of the design, allowing the composition to shift visually depending on placement.

The surfaces display a rich, natural patina consistent with age, contributing to their depth and authenticity. Both pieces retain their original construction and are fitted with the characteristic metal signature plate, confirming their origin and date.
