Galeotta chairs designed in 1968 by the Italian design trio De Pas, D’Urbino, and Lomazzi for Bonacina. It is renowned for its modular, sculptural form and its ability to transform into various seating positions, including a lounge chair and a daybed.
Made entirely of variable-density polyurethane foam, without any rigid internal structure. It has three foldable, monoblock cushions linked by a stretch fabric that also acts as a hinge, allowing it to convert between seated, semi-reclined, and fully reclined positions. Reupholstered in a stunning eggplant/cream checkered linen, viscose fabric by Zinc Textiles. These are early edition chairs.
Condition:
In very good condition because of the new fabric. Signs of use on the frames. Both chairs have different feet. See pictures.
